i wanna hold your hand
i felt funny taking pictures of strangers, hoping they would oblige me if they knew how sweet and inspirational i thought they were.
they are both in their 'golden years' and were getting knocked around by the waves - but how good is life when you have someone to hold onto <3
sally's head and the salmon in the 'river'.
the river didn't meet the sea like this slippery guy thought it probably should. the kids went into "animal resuce 991" (as ju would say - hope she never has to be the one calling for help). the girls (and 2 new friends) scooped the fish into a towel and zoomed, lights flashing, running all the red lights, to the pond, where it hopped into the water
j was collecting seaweed, thought we would take it home - sorry fella, it's mommy seaweed will miss it too much. what? yes, of course seaweed has a mommy
b is a challenge to get into the camera frame, i have to sneak up and click when he is not looking (making mud balls for a mud ball fight). ju will not be left out of any fun, even if it means she must get hurt and/or cry (i tried to warn her)
'beach babies' or 'shark bait'
